Fetassist started because I got tired of seeing the same 200+ product reviews which confuse you more than inform you about the best service in that category (and the truth is that many of those sites aren’t even the best in their category).

And what is it with porn review sites and desktop-only interfaces? Are mobile users a joke to you?

So I built the site I wish existed when I was trying to figure out which platform was worth my money.

What we actually do here

I sign up for these platforms myself. I dig through the pricing pages, the content libraries, the cancellation policies, the stuff that’s usually buried three menus deep. Then I write about what I find, plain and simple, no padding.

If a platform has a confusing billing setup, I’ll say so. If the free trial isn’t really free, I’ll tell you exactly how it works. The goal is for you to read a page here and know more than you did before you clicked, not less.

On the affiliate links

Yes, some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we might earn a small commission. That’s how the site stays running and how I can keep buying subscriptions to test things firsthand instead of guessing.

It doesn’t change what gets written. A platform paying a higher commission doesn’t get a better review. If anything, I hold the bigger names to a higher standard, because more people are trusting that recommendation.

Who’s behind this

Fetassist is a small, independent operation. No big media company backing it, no editorial board, just someone who spends a lot of time testing these platforms so you don’t have to waste your money finding out the hard way.

I update content regularly because pricing and features change often in this space, and an outdated review is almost worse than no review at all.
